VERONIKA FOX

THE ARTIST

A woman wearing a brown fur coat, black dress, white sneakers, and cream knee-high socks with a red ribbon stands next to a mannequin. The woman is touching the mannequin's head. There is a colorful drawing on the floor depicting a robot-like figure with graffiti and text around it.

Veronika is a contemporary Ukrainian-born artist based in New York City. Her work exists at the intersection of abstract art, figurative painting, and contemporary visual language, forming a fluid and ever-evolving practice.

Creating art fulfills her need for self-expression. Her work is defined by immersive, moody compositions with a layered and tactile quality. The human form often dissolves into atmosphere and texture, creating a sense of ambiguity between presence and abstraction.

Her practice moves between abstraction, figuration, surrealism, and street-inspired elements, forming a hybrid visual language rooted in instinct. Guided by the subconscious, she builds layered compositions where color and process lead the way.

Through contrast, light, and layered surfaces, her work explores the tension between chaos and harmony, control and surrender. Each piece carries both sensitivity and strength,
a reflection of emotion in motion.

Based in New York, her work engages with contemporary art dialogues, exploring identity, perception, and the subconscious through a deeply personal lens.

I create chaos to find balance.I don’t follow a fixed style, I follow intuition, letting color and emotion guide the process.
